NHS Walk-in Centres aim to help people with busy lifestyles who need access to flexible and convenient health services. The Centre is run by a team of experienced nurses, an emergency care practitioner and two GPs. Walk-in Centres complement local GP and hospital services by providing a range of treatments for minor illnesses and injuries. The Newcastle Central NHS Walk-in Centre is one of seven Walk-in Centres operated by the independent sector working on behalf of the NHS. This Walk-in Centre is run by Care UK, a leading independent provider of health and social care service.
