What can I expect?
The centre aims to see everyone within 20 minutes of them being booked in at reception, or within 30 minutes for those people who arrive between 7.30am and 8.30am. Services provided at the Walk-In Centre include:
• Treatment for minor illnesses and injuries
• Assessment by an experienced NHS nurse
• Advice on how to stay healthy
• Information on out-of-hours GP and dental services
• Information on local pharmacy services
• Information on other local health services
Do I need to register? No you will not be required to register, although please be aware that our recepetion staff will need to take some general information from you upon your arrival at the centre.

Can I see a GP at the centre? The walk-in centre is primarily a nurse-lead service, however, a GP is available should you need to see one.
Can I get repeat prescriptions at the walk-in centre?
No, you must contact your GP for all repeat prescriptions.
Will information about my visit be sent to my GP?
Yes, with your consent, all consultation notes will be sent to your GP practice immediately after your visit. If you do not wish for your notes to be sent to your GP please inform the clinican during your consultation.
When is the centre open? The centre is open from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and bank holidays with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
