Centre Manager Debbie Renshall
Debbie has extensive primary care experience having previously worked for a national provider where she worked as part of a national operations team for 6 years. In this role, Debbie was heavily involved in the migration of call handling services in 37 units into two clinical response centres.
Debbie joined Care UK in March 2006 and was instrumental in the set-up and the subsequent successful operation of the Newcastle Central NHS Walk-in Centre.
General Practitioner Eva Brindzakova
Having gained her medical degrees in Slovakia in 1987, Eva had several clinical positions before settling in General Practice in 1993. Eva’s most recent role, prior to joining the staff at the Walk-in Centre, was that of principal General Practitioner in a private practice where she was responsible for the day-to-day operation and business activities of the practice.
Eva joined Care UK in April 2006 as a General Practitioner at the Newcastle Central NHS Walk-in Centre and participated in establishing the centre.
Lead Nurse Teresa McKillop
Teresa has an extensive background in nursing, midwifery and health visiting and is also a nurse prescriber. After qualifiying with a BSc (Hons) in Primary Health Care, Teresa went on to work as a clinical leader in primary care services within the NHS and was responsible for commissioning PCT services. She has held a number of senior nurse roles both in the UK and overseas and has been with Care UK since January 2007.
